Caroline Miranda is a consultant at IFC, where she supports the Latin America and Caribbean team within the Country Economics and Engagement Department. Prior to joining IFC, Caroline was an analyst at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. There, she conducted macroeconomic analysis and cross-asset research of the financial markets in Latin America and Southeast Asia for senior leadership.
Previously, Ms. Miranda worked in Sabah, Malaysia serving as a cultural ambassador for U.S. public diplomacy initiatives through the Fulbright Program. In this role, she facilitated a youth social entrepreneurship program.
She received her M.A. in International Economics and Latin American Studies, from the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University. Ms. Miranda is Proficient in Spanish and conversational in Bahasa Melayu.
