Carson Christiano is Executive Director of CEGA and provides leadership in the Center’s scientific development, partnerships, and outreach. She previously led CEGA’s partnership development efforts, incubating new research initiatives and working with faculty, donors, and partners to generate rigorous evidence in priority areas (including technology, financial inclusion, and energy). Prior to joining CEGA, Carson worked with Innovations for Poverty Action in Kenya where she coordinated a large-scale, randomized evaluation of water, sanitation, and hygiene interventions. She holds a Master’s in Public Policy from UC Berkeley’s Goldman School of Public Policy and a BA in Political Science and International Studies from Northwestern University.
