Catalina Garcia Garcia is currently a Junior Professional Associate in the Statistics Team within the Poverty and Equity Global Practice at the World Bank. Previously, she served as a consultant in the Labor Markets Division at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in Washington, D.C. Before that, she contributed to data analysis, business intelligence, and project management as a consultant at the Compliance Advisor Ombudsman (CAO) of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), where she also participated in their Global Internship Program. Catalina has further honed her expertise as a Knowledge Management Consultant in the Knowledge, Innovation, and Communication Unit at the IDB.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a double major in Government and Public Affairs and a minor in Economics, as well as a Master of Science in Data Analytics and Intelligence from Universidad de los Andes.
