Catherine Rodríguez is an international consultant expert in impact evaluation of educational programs, in the design of educational policies, and in the consequences of the armed conflict on the civilian population. She has led the quantitative teams of numerous impact evaluations of national educational programs related with school food programs, TICs in education, undergraduate and graduate merit scholarships, and teachers’ policies among others. She is the author of books, chapters and academic articles in national and international indexed journals. She is currently living in the Dominican Republic and is a researcher at the Faculty of Economics and the Center for Economic Development Studies (CEDE) at Universidad de los Andes in Bogota, Colombia. She has been Associate Professor of the same Faculty and consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF) and the World Bank, among others. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics and a Master's degree in Political Economy from Boston University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universidad del Rosario (Colombia).
