Catherine Tovey is the World Bank's Practice Manager for Urban, Resilience and Land in the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan, and Pakistan region. She joined the World Bank Group in 2004 as a Young Professional, and has also been a Practice Manager for Water in the Eastern and Southern Africa region.
Prior to joining the World Bank Group, Catherine worked for the UK Government (Department for International Development). Catherine has a PhD from Cambridge University on institutional aspects of water service delivery in informal settlements in Delhi, India.
