Cecilia is an agronomist and water resources management specialist working as a consultant for the World Bank in the Sahel region, where she provides technical support and analytical work on irrigation, transboundary water management, and water security. Previously, she worked as a consultant, program manager, and researcher in the Sahel, East Africa, the Middle East, and Asia (Pakistan and Bangladesh), on irrigation, sustainable land and water management, and water governance. Cecilia holds a PhD in Agricultural Water Management from the University of Cordoba, Spain, a MSc in International Land and Water Management from the University of Wageningen, and a BSc in Agronomic Sciences and Technologies from the University of Florence.
