Cecilia Escalante Hernandez is a consultant for the Transport Global Practice, with expertise in impact evaluation and spatial analysis. She has supported rural and urban transportation projects in Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America regions. Prior to joining the World Bank, Cecilia worked for Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA), the World Food Program (WFP) and the Mexican Local Government conducting data analytics to support evidence-based decision making. She holds a Master of Public Administration in Development Practice from the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) – Columbia University and a Bachelor in Administration from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM).
