She has more than 15 years’ experience in international development, focusing mainly on water, energy and food security issues in Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Besides the World Bank, she has worked for the International Water Management Institute (IWMI), WorldFish, the Access to Seeds Index and Foundation Rural Energy Services. Cecily is a qualified journalist and holds a master’s degree in international food governance.
