Celia is a climate analyst with a particular interest in the implications of the energy transition on developing countries.  She has worked in international development for 4 years and joined the World Bank in 2019. Within the Climate-Smart Mining Initiative, Celia has contributed to analysis on lithium and aluminum supply chains for electric vehicles and solar PV respectively, as well as on the production of low-carbon hydrogen in developing countries. She holds an MSc in Sociology from the University of Oxford and a BA in International Relations from King’s College London.
