Celina Proffen is an economist working at the World Bank’s Social Protection Global Practice, supporting worker-centric labor market and skilling programs. She is also part of the Solutions for Youth Employment (S4YE) initiative, which collaborates with a broad network of partners to identify and scale innovative solutions for youth employment. Before joining the World Bank, Celina gained extensive experience in research and the NGO sector, with a focus on facilitating school-to-work transitions. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Frankfurt University.
