Chadi Bou-Habib is a Lead Economist in the Fiscal Policy and Sustainable Growth Global Unit of the World Bank Group. He works on Domestic Revenue Mobilization from Extractives, Public Expenditure Reviews, Fiscal Adjustment, Fiscal Policies, and Human Capital. Chadi joined the World Bank in 2003 and his previous experience with the Bank encompassed Statistical Capacity Building, Financial and Monetary Dynamics, Mining Sector, Development Policy Lending, Country Economic Memorandums, Growth, and Dutch Disease. He has worked extensively on Fragile and Conflict countries. Prior to the Bank, he worked in the asset liability management and economic studies department of a private bank. Chadi holds a PhD in International Money and Finance from the University of Lyon, France, a MSc in Development Economics from the University of Montpellier, France, and a MA in Economics from the American University of Beirut. Most recently, he has co-authored the approach paper for the Conclave of Ministers of Finance on financing Human Capital Development.
