Dr. Chanin Manopiniwes (Big) is an Infrastructure Economist at the World Bank based in Bangkok. He has led and supported Bank's projects, as well as analytical works, in Thailand, Malaysia, Lao PDR, and Pacific Island countries in cross-cutting areas from transport, renewable energy and energy efficiency, urban, ICT, water resources and disaster risk management, climate change, public sector and decentralization, and public private partnership. He received his Ph.D. from Cornell University. Photography is his favorite hobby.
