Charis Lypiridis is a World Bank specialist on infrastructure finance, low-carbon and climate resilient development. He is currently leading GPOBA’s Initiative on Climate Change and operations in South Asia and the Pacific region. Previously, he worked for IFC—International Finance Corporation’s Department on Public-Private Partnerships, Bloomberg New Energy Finance and EU programs. He holds degrees in public administration from Columbia University, sustainability science from UN University in Tokyo and civil engineering from Aristotle University in Greece.
