Chi Fung is currently working for the Singapore Government, formulating policies related to personal data protection and cross-border data flows, and promoting Singapore as a thought leader in data protection and AI ethics and governance globally.
Chi Fung was an Intern and Consultant with the World Bank Group at the Singapore Infrastructure and Urban Development Hub between 2016 and 2018, where he was part of the Global Infrastructure Connectivity Alliance (GICA) team. He also worked on an Afghanistan connectivity project and researched on the good practices of Singapore’s trade and logistics sector.
Chi Fung holds a Master in Public Policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, specialising in International Relations, and has an Economics degree from the National University of Singapore.
