Chiara Lunetti is an extended term consultant for the World Bank Group’s Finance, Competitiveness and Innovation Global Practice, which she joined in 2021.
Prior to joining the World bank, Chiara was a qualified Italian lawyer at the restructuring and litigation department of top Italian law firms. During her time in private practice, she assisted with large domestic and international operations of restructuring, insolvency proceedings, as well as commercial and civil disputes. Chiara is also a qualified lawyer in France
In addition, she holds a double PhD in private international law at the Università degli Studi di Milano and Université Paris 1, Panthéon-Sorbonne, with a thesis on cross-border insolvency. She has assisted CERIL as associate researcher and is a member of INSOL Yanil and INSOL ERA.
