Chiara Mariotti is a development economist and leads Oxfam GB’s policy and global advocacy work on inequality. Previously, she worked as a researcher at the Overseas Development Institute, focusing on policy solutions to chronic poverty. She holds a PhD in Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies and has taught heterodox and political economy in British universities.
