Chinedu Temple Obi is a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Agriculture Economics at the University of Pisa, Italy. His research focuses on socioeconomics and welfare analysis, and impact evaluation. Chinedu was selected among the Young Fellows in Force-displacement, a partnership program between the UK Department for International Development (DFID), the World Bank Group, and UNHCR to build the evidence base on forced displacement. As a fellow, Chinedu researched the impact of forced displacement on refugees. He also helped to develop models that would assist refugees in accessing governments’ social security net. Chinedu received an Erasmus Mundus International master’s degree in rural development (Ghent University, Belgium). He holds a Joint Ph.D. in socioeconomics (Ghent University Belgium) and Agriculture Economics (University of Pisa, Italy).
