Chipo Msowoya is a Social Protection Specialist with the World Bank’s Social Protection and Jobs Global Practice and focuses on social safety nets, shock responsive social protection, delivery systems and economic inclusion. He has focused on the Africa region, supporting key social protection projects in Malawi and Zambia. Prior to joining the World Bank, Chipo worked as a Development Economist and Program Manager for Social Protection Projects with EU Delegation to Malawi. He also worked as an Economist responsible for macroeconomic planning and sectoral policy analyses with the Ministry of Finance in Malawi. He holds an MSc in Macroeconomic Policy for Development from the University of Bradford.
