Chris is the UN - World Bank Liaison Officer jointly located in the World Bank Country Management Unit and the UN Integrated Office for Somalia, where he supports the strategic, analytical and operational partnership between both organizations. Chris advises country leadership, task teams and the government to leverage partnerships with UN agencies and NGOs in the implementation of more than half a billion dollars in IDA resources through ‘hybrid delivery modalities’. Before taking up this role, he worked for the UN in different humanitarian and development coordination roles across Afghanistan, Somalia, Southern Africa and UN Headquarters in New York. Chris holds master’s degrees in international relations from the College of Europe in Bruges and in Political Science from Sciences Po Bordeaux.
