Christian Johannes Meyer is a Labor Economist with the World Bank’s Social Protection & Jobs Global Practice, where he co-leads a research program on industrial labor in Ethiopia. He is a behavioral and experimental economist with interests at the intersection of development and labor economics. Most of his work uses laboratory and field experiments in close cooperation with partner organizations, combined with original data collection. In Fall 2019, Christian will join the University of Oxford as a Postdoctoral Prize Research Fellow at Nuffield College and the Department of Economics.
