Christine Ochieng works in the World Bank's Water Global Practice in Nairobi, Kenya as a Water and Sanitation Specialist. In her role, she works on water sector institutional analysis and development as part of Utility Turnaround programs. This forms part of investment projects in Kenya’s coastal and north eastern regions. She task manages a project focused on raising citizen voice in water resources projects. She is deeply interested in the development of water sector institutions and the leadership development of women professionals in the sector. She previously worked on output-based aid projects with water utilities in Kenya targeted at extending water supply and sanitation services in informal settlements. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
