Chris joined the World Bank in January 2017 as an energy access and geospatial data specialist. His work has been focused on applying modern techniques in modelling, data analysis and GIS in order to solve pressing issues in energy and energy access. This involves talking to stakeholders at all levels to understand what is needed, what is possible, and what is expedient. Before working at the World Bank, Chris worked as an energy researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, where he also earned his Master’s degree. Before that he earned an engineering degree from Stellenbosch University in South Africa.
