Claire H. Hollweg is a Trade Economist with the Trade & Competitiveness Global Practice of the World Bank Group. She holds a PhD and an MA in economics from the University of Adelaide. Prior to studying economics, she worked as a journalist in newspaper and radio. She also has work experience with the government of South Australia and the Pacific Economic Cooperation Council (PECC) in Singapore. Her research interests include development economics with a recent focus on trade, labour, and household responses to shocks.
