Clara Ariza is an international consultant with almost 20 years of experience in climate change adaptation, disaster risk management, development, and environmental issues worldwide. Clara has worked in policy, strategy and on-the ground programs and projects for multilateral and bilateral donors, UN agencies and NGOs. Her work has always been motivated by the possibility of contributing to the identification and implementation of simple and effective strategies to reduce vulnerability and strengthen the resilience of socioeconomic systems to environmental change, particularly climate change, drought, land degradation and desertification. Clara also provides professional pro-bono services to various community-level organizations.
