Lorena is an urban and regional planner with over 20 years of experience in designing and implementing projects across disaster risk management, land use planning, climate change adaptation, urban upgrading, basic services provision, and institutional capacity building.
Since joining the World Bank in 2010, Lorena has worked in Latin America and the Caribbean, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Europe and Central Asia regions. Prior to this, Lorena worked as a consultant, project officer, and research assistant in Tanzania, Germany, and Colombia. She is currently based in Lagos, Nigeria.
