Claudia Noumedem Temgoua is the Country Economist for Chad with the MTI unit based in N’djamena. A Cameroonian national, Claudia joined the Bank as a WBG African Fellow with the Poverty MENA unit in 2018. She is currently a member of the WBG Y2Y Network steering committee. Claudia has extensive experience with the World Bank operations and analytics. She has also worked with the private sector in finance and accounting, as well as in academia. Claudia holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Bordeaux in France and an M.A. in Development Economics from Warsaw University in Poland. She is a recipient of the “Initiative of Excellence” (IDEX) grant from the French State. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals.
