Clemencia Muñoz Tamayo has been Head of the UN Women Training Centre since November 2011. She has more than 20 years of professional experience in international development and gender equality, having worked for UNIFEM and UNDP both in the field and at headquarters level. She previously served as Head of the Kellogg Foundation's Office for Mexico and Central America, worked at the National Planning Ministry of Colombia, and served as a member of the editorial board of Foreign Affairs en Español magazine. Clemencia holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University and studied social public policies at Mexico's Iberoamerican University. She is currently a member of the Mexican Council on Foreign Relations, COMEXI.
