Dale Lautenbach is Communications Advisor for the Middle East and North Africa of the World Bank. Previously, she managed the communications function in South Asia and was a speechwriter for then Bank president Jim Wolfensohn. Before joining the Bank, Dale was a journalist and editor in southern Africa. She graduated from the University of Cape Town (her much missed home town) and now lives in Washington DC.
