Dan has more than 25 years of experience across numerous areas including energy access, power utilities, water, resource efficiency and captive power solutions and large grid-tied renewable energy (solar, geothermal, etc.).
Dan joined IFC in 2010 and led IFC’s Advisory Services work related to Sustainable Energy Finance (SEF) in the Latin America and the Caribbean region. Prior to that, he spent 11 years at the Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF) of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), where he led MIF’s work in a variety of areas, such as investment funds targeted towards clean technologies and technical assistance projects focused on environmental management systems (EMS), cleaner production, clean energy, among other areas.
Dan has a master’s degree in Environmental Studies and another master’s in International and Development Economics from Yale University.
