Dr. Dana Landau is Research Coordinator at the Inclusive Peace & Transition Initiative. She holds a PhD from the University of Oxford, Department of Politics and International Relations, as well as an MPhil from the same department and a BA in War Studies from Kings College London. During her doctorate, she researched the post-conflict state-building process in Kosovo and also taught ‘Politics of Policymaking’ at the University of Oxford’s Blavatnik School of Government. Dana previously worked on women’s security, transitional justice, and governance issues for UNDP and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation in Kosovo. She has also conducted internships with Human Rights Watch and the European Centre for Minority Issues. Her research interests include peace processes, state-building, minority rights, diversity, and nationalism. She is particularly interested in the transfer of academic research to the worlds of policy and practice. Dana coordinates IPTI’s research activities and conducts comparative research on peace and transition processes.
