Daniel Herszenhut is a Research Assistant at the Institute for Applied Economic Research (Ipea), Brazil. For the last years, he has contributed to the Access to Opportunities Project investigating how accessibility conditions and inequalities are affected by the spatial organization of cities and by public transport fares. He is the author and maintainer of several R packages that help conducting accessibility analyses and manipulating public transport data in a reproducible environment. Daniel has graduated as a Civil Engineer and holds a Master’s degree as a Transport Engineer, both from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
