Daniel Navia

Senior Economist

Daniel Navia is a Senior Economist with the Economic Policy Department for Latin America & Caribbean. His work is focused on the connections between climate, energy, economic growth, and fiscal policy.

He joined the World Bank in 2022 and has supported lending operations, technical assistance projects, and publications across countries and regionally. His research interests include the macroeconomics of energy, and the design of policies in the energy sector.

He holds a Master in Finance and Economics from CEMFI and a Degree in Economics from Universidad Carlos III in Madrid and is a PhD candidate at the University of Cambridge.
