Daniela Maquera Sardón is a Junior Professional Associate (JPA) at the Poverty and Equity Global Practice of the World Bank, where she focuses on poverty eradication through the cross-cutting lenses of gender. She dedicates to data and policy analysis to identify and close gender gaps through WB-supported operations.
Daniela made part of the World Bank's LCR Inclusive Internship Program and has previously worked on socio-economic development research and projects at Mercy Corps, the Research in Color Foundation, and the State Department of New Jersey as a Project Management Coordinator. She has authored publications in global outlets on a variety of economic and international development topics.
Daniela holds a Master's in Global Economy from the School of Economics at Fudan University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and International Relations from Seton Hall University.
