Daniella is a communications professional with ten years of experience spanning journalism, diplomacy, public relations, and international development. She recently joined the World Bank’s Energy and Extractive Industries team as a communications officer covering issues related to energy access. For the past five years, Daniella worked on communicating the impactful work of the World Bank in Africa through engaging storytelling, high profile events, and online and multimedia mediums. Three of those years were spent in Dakar, Senegal, where she had a birds-eye view of operations across many sectors. Prior to the World Bank, Daniella worked in public affairs for the U.S. Department of State in Paris, France. Daniella received her M.A. from Georgetown University and a B.A. from Columbia University. She is fluent in French.
