Currently is the Executive President of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration CABEI.
Dante, a Honduran national, joined the World Bank as a Country Economist in Honduras in 2003, going on to become Senior Country Operations Officer in the Hondura´s office. In 2010 he moved to Ghana after being appointed as Senior Operations Officer in Accra country office. Prior to joining the World Bank, Dante worked for at the Government of Honduras for ten years, most recently serving as a Senior Economist for the Secretary of the Presidency, and Secretary of the Economic Cabinet.
He holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Honduras, a Masters degree in Economics from Duke University, and a PhD in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
