A graduate in Civil Engineering from IIT Roorkee, Darshit was a recipient of the ‘Ministry of Steel-INSDAG Gold medal for innovation in structural design’, and an ‘Academic Achievement Award’ at IITR. After graduation, he worked for 2 years at Power-Grid Corporation, which is the Central Transmission Utility of India. At Power-Grid, he worked on World-Bank funded electricity transmission projects in Nepal, and in-house R&D centre development of Power-Grid. After the first year at IIMA, he did his internship with the Corporate Strategy Division of Aditya Birla Group.
