David Robinett is a senior private sector development specialist in the World Bank's Capital Markets and Corporate Governance Service Line. He began his corporate governance career at the OECD and has worked on corporate governance policy in a range of emerging market economies. He has authored and co-authored a number publications on corporate governance, including Held by the Visible Hand: The Challenge of State Owned Enterprise Corporate Governance for Emerging Markets. He has a PhD in economics from the George Washington University.
