Dr. David Rojas-Rueda MD, MPH, PhD, is an Environmental Epidemiologist and Professor at Colorado State University. His primary research focuses on promoting healthy environments, urban health and supporting mitigation and adaptation to climate change. David has worked in several countries around Africa, Europe, Middle East, Latin, and North America. David specializes in innovative epidemiological methods, health impact assessment, and populational risk assessment. His research actively involves the community, stakeholders, local and national authorities. He has published more than 80 scientific articles and several book chapters. David has a PhD in Epidemiology from University Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, Spain.”
