Deblina Saha joined the World Bank's Infrastructure Finance, PPPs and Guarantees (IPG) Group in September 2015 and is based in the Bank’s Singapore Infrastructure Hub. She has over seven years of infrastructure financing and policy experience with both commercial and development banks.
Prior to joining the Bank, she was part of the infrastructure lending team of a leading Indian commercial bank where she worked on a number of project finance deals mostly in transport and logistics. She is passionate about the infrastructure sector and her varied experience gives her an in-depth understanding of the sector’s public and private sector nuances. She also has experience in the micro-finance and micro-housing sectors. Deblina has an MBA from IIM-Ahmedabad, the leading B-school in India. She also holds a B.Com (Hons) Accountancy from the Ravenshaw University, India.
