Decima Corea is a Vincentian national working as In-Country Project Coordinator for the World Bank Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, in the Latin America and the Caribbean region. Ms. Corea leads the coordination and implementation of Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Resilience activities in-country. She supports the task team, liaises with government officials, provides operational and strategic inputs, facilitates and supports the activities by consultants as well as helps organize workshops and training, among other things.
Prior to joining the World Bank, Ms. Corea was the acting Director of Economic Planning for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
She has wide experience in macroeconomic planning and project management. She has been at the forefront of policy discussions with the donor community and other development partners.
She holds a master’s degree in Financial Economics from the University of London and a bachelor’s in Economics from the University of the West Indies. She also has post-graduate certifications in Project Planning, Appraisal, and Management from the University of Bradford.
