Dr. Deepak Santhanakrishnan (MPP, PhD) is a Consultant with the World Bank’s health team based in India. With over a decade of experience, Dr. Deepak has been focusing on research and analytics aiming to inform health service delivery strategies, social protection schemes (e.g. cash transfer programs), and financial inclusion. Prior to joining the Bank, Dr. Deepak held positions in the government, think tank and universities, working on issues related to economic growth and development for low- and middle-income countries. Dr. Deepak received his PhD from the University of Cambridge (UK) and a MPP from the University of Saskatchewan and University of Regina (Canada).
