Deepika works with the World Bank’s Education Global Practice and the Office of the Chief Economist, Africa Region (AFRCE). Currently, she is researching human capital constraints and opportunities in Sub-Saharan Africa and providing analytics, program design and operational support for a secondary education project in Bangladesh. Prior to joining the Education GP, she worked with the Africa Gender Innovation Lab on an RCT to understand the gender impacts of formal property rights in Uganda.
She holds a Masters from the School of Foreign Service, Georgetown University and a Bachelors in Economics and International Relations from Lake Forest College.
