Degi is the Program Manager of the Myanmar Partnership Multi-Donor Trust Fund responsible for coordinating the engagement of the government of Myanmar, partners and the World Bank Group involved in the program. The Myanmar Partnership Multi-Donor program aims to support Myanmar’s transition and the implementation of market-oriented policies, social reforms and national development strategies.
Prior to this position she was the Program Manager of the South-South Experience Exchange Facility (South-South Facility). In this role she has developed strategies to transform the South-South Facility from a funding mechanism to a client-focused, results-based knowledge exchange program supported by partners consisting of OECD’s Development Assistance Committee as well as middle-income countries.
Degi has held various positions in the World Bank ranging from portfolio management, coordinating of complex programs, as well as designing and implementing effective knowledge exchange programs.
She holds a Master of Arts degree in International Education with a concentration on distance learning from George Washington University and a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland. She enjoys playing tennis.
