Dharini Natarajan is an Operations Analyst in the World Bank's Education Global Practice. She has six years of experience working on higher education and skills development across the Sub-Saharan Africa region, with a focus on advancing the capacity for STEM education. She has contributed to and co-led the design and implementation of projects and analytical work at the national as well as regional level, and supported dialogue with African governments to influence policy reforms. She has also played a critical role in supporting regional initiatives such as the Africa-led and World Bank-facilitated Partnership for skills in Applied Sciences, Engineering and Technology (PASET) that brings together African governments, private sector, academia and partners to strengthen the region’s technical and scientific capacity. Dharini holds a Master's degree in International Development Studies (focusing on Education Development) from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Economic Analysis and French from Rice University.
