Diana is an innovation expert with extensive experience in strategic projects across sectors: international development, business, and the public sector. Currently, she acts as a private sector development specialist with the World Bank Group, coordinating a series of projects on research valorization and technology transfer aiming to boost innovation in Romania.
Diana is a frequent guest speaker at national and European events, addressing topics such as ecosystem design, policies/ programs for innovation, funding for innovation, and entrepreneurship and startups. Creating long-lasting partnerships between unlikely allies stands at the core of her work in private companies (ICT industry), international organizations (UNDP, World Bank), professional networks (ARCADIA), government (MFA), and business support organization (SPHERIK).
She has a BA in Political Science (Babes-Bolyai University, Romania) and a MA in International Relations and European Studies (Central European University, Hungary). Diana is a fellow of the Aspen Young Leaders Program in Romania and a Policy Leader fellow of the European University Institute in Florence.
