Diego Ambasz is a Senior Education Specialist for the East Asia and Pacific Region, and Co-Global Lead for Education and Climate Change in the Education Global Practice at the World Bank. He led several education projects and analytical tasks in Latin America and in Europe and Central Asia. Prior to joining the World Bank in 2003, he held senior analytical and management positions in Argentina’s public administration. His teaching experience in public policy included professor positions at several Universities in Argentina. He has published several articles, papers and books on education and innovation policy. His most recent publication was in 2023 on the role of human capital in the climate transition.
