Diego Tuzman joined the World Bank in July of 2018 and has been working on topics relating to distributional impact of social policies, macro modelling and education. Prior to joining the Bank, he worked at the Ministry of Social Development in Uruguay. Diego holds an M.A. in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the Witten/Herdecke University in Germany and a B.A. in Economics from the Universidad de la República in Uruguay. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Economics from the Universidad de la República.
