Dilip Parajuli is a Senior Economist with the Global Education Unit of the World Bank. His career at the Bank spans two decades of operational, analytical and policy dialogue experience on various country programs in South Asia, East Asia and West and Central Africa. Dilip was based in Abuja, Nigeria from 2021-2025 where he led and coordinated the country’s education and skills work program of operations and advisory services. These programs include Adolescent Girls Initiative on Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) project and Human Capital Opportunities for Prosperity and Equality (HOPE) PforR-Education. He previously worked on the Vietnam work program from Hanoi; and before that on the Bangladesh and Nepal portfolios. Dilip holds an undergraduate degree and a graduate degree in development economics from Harvard University.
