Dimitris Tsitsiragos, a Greek national, is IFC’s Vice President of New Business. He leads investment operations, overseeing new business development and client relationships with key private sector partners worldwide.
Mr. Tsitsiragos was previously IFC’s co-Vice President for Global Client Services, leading investment operations and advisory services from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, Mr. Tsitsiragos was IFC’s Vice President for Europe, Central Asia, Middle East, and North Africa. From 2010 to 2011, he served as IFC’s Director for Middle East, North Africa, and Southern Europe.
Mr. Tsitsiragos headed IFC Global Manufacturing and Services from 2004 to 2010, leading activities in tourism, retail and property development, construction materials, the forest-products chain, life sciences, and energy-efficient machinery.
Mr. Tsitsiragos has worked in a wide range of regions and industries. He spent over two years in New Delhi as IFC’s Director for South Asia, where he doubled commitments for the region, and doubled IFC’s portfolio in India. He also served as Manager of New Investments for IFC in Eastern and Central Europe, and spent over 12 years in IFC’s oil and gas division.
Mr. Tsitsiragos holds an MBA from The George Washington University.
