Diya Elfadel is a Health Specialist with the World Bank based in Amman, Jordan. He joined the Bank in May of 2022. Diya provides support to teams in preparing, implementing, and evaluating lending operations, focusing on strengthening the health system, and providing analytical and advisory services that address public health challenges, link health to broader HD topics, and provide support to high-quality analysis and advisory services. Diya is experienced in program management with a focus on health service delivery and system strengthening. Diya has worked with several UN agencies and donor entities such as FAO, UNDP, and Global Affairs Canada in the past. Diya holds a master's degree in economics from the University of Jordan and is fluent in Arabic and English.
